Marinate the Chicken
- In a bowl, combine the chicken, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well and marinate for at least 1 hour. For best results, cover and refrigerate.
Sauté the Aromatics
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until softened and fragrant.
Add the Chicken
- Add the marinated chicken (reserve the marinade) and cook until it turns light brown.
Add Sauce and Simmer
- Pour in tomato sauce, reserved marinade, and water. Add bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30–40 minutes until the chicken becomes tender.
Add Liver and Hotdogs
- Stir in the chicken liver and hotdogs. Cook for another 5–7 minutes, or until the liver is cooked.
Add Veggies
- Add potatoes, carrots, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for another 10–12 minutes or until vegetables are tender but not mushy.
