Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled & deveined
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 tbsp butter divided
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp butter + olive oil in a skillet. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Toss in pasta, lemon juice, parsley, and a splash of pasta water. Stir until coated.
  5. Return shrimp to skillet. Add Parmesan. Toss and serve immediately.
