Method
- Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water. Drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp butter + olive oil in a skillet. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Toss in pasta, lemon juice, parsley, and a splash of pasta water. Stir until coated.
- Return shrimp to skillet. Add Parmesan. Toss and serve immediately.
